membership down –

Possible issues: Trails not open sooner, people can’t ride. Suggestion: Open trails soomer, but not  groom. Club has decided to be more cautious. Discuss in the future to allow a member to  ride in advance. Give the club the ok trails are good to open. Club puts out the word, trails open, ungroomed. Club members hesitant about this.

Possible issues: Outreach. Suggestion: restarting the physically mailer each Fall asking the prior  members to become a member for the upcoming year. Discussed placing QR codes at local  snowmobile registration locations IE bait shop in town, Dasilva’s Motorsports, HK??

Shoot for a membership count each year; Brian Swanker mentioned in the world of Grant in Aid,  membership count does matter. This may provide incentive for us to focus on increasing our  membership.

Club T&C trip: 4 members went, thank you! They said riding was amazing and had hit it right!

WOW Correspondance. The WOW trail reached out to us looking for input. Shared input to Brenda w/ WOW Trail. See below:

The rail bed is the clubs primary connector. This trail is a major thoroughfare for connecting clubs.

We would not be in favor of anything that limits or prohibits snowmobile use.

Local access is important. Many abutting neighbors to the rail utilize the rail as their access to the entire trail system. The  club would not be in favor of limiting or prohibiting via blocking from fence or structure.

There are 2 connections off of Lake Winnipesaukee off of the rail bed. These should not be blocked

Access 1. Off Scenic Dr in the weirs in the general vicinity of Parcel 117-234-3

Access 2. Off the Rail bed, between lot 11 on Bayshore rd and lot 23A on Mile point drive PVT. This access is over the stee embankment of the rail bed where it directly abuts Meredith Bay.

A representative of the SnoStreakers has not been able to attend the wow meetings due to the time of meeting.  The SnoStreakers meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6pm. We announce our location the month prior via email,  Facebook and our website. We will be meeting Tuesday February 11th.
